Bay Oldenburg Mare, born 1993
by Landadel out of St.Pr./El.St. Chin-Chin by Zeus-Armand
Breeder: Paul Wendeln, Garrel
Pedigree
Her sire Landadel is still one of the most important performance sires, mixing at the top with sport horses such as Legurio/Franke Sloothaak, Ladanika/Verena Wolf-Richter and Lomitas/Alexander Onischenko (UKR). The dam St.Pr./El.St. Chin-Chin ranked on the I-i position in the Brillantring at the Oldenburg Elite Broodmare Show. She also gave birth to the licensed stallion Laphroaig (by Landadel) and his full sister, the National Champion Mare, C’Dur. The granddam Cinderella, an Armand daughter born in the Netherlands, was bred to Zeus many times, producing five premium mares, Chinchilla, Cleopatra, Cabarett, C’Est la Vie and Chrystal, the first of which became the 1980 Oldenburg Champion Mare, and two licensed stallions, Zymbal I und II, the first of which was the 2nd Reserve Champion in 1984, won the Main Premium in 1986 and participated in the Bundeschampionat three times, and the last of which competed in international show jumping competitions. The dam's sire Zeus, a chestnut Anglo-Norman stallion, was stationed at Gestüt Vorwerk where he sired an entire armada of show jumpers such as Thomas Mühlbauer's Zukunft.
Oldenburg performance line of Cinderella, the St.Pr./El.St. Chin-Chin branch.
Own performance record
At her broodmare performance test in 1996 in Vechta, St.Pr./El.St. Caruge finished with convincing results and an overall score of 7.92. After winning the I-a Prize at the Schau der Besten in Oldenburg, she made the Brillantring at the Elite Broodmare Show in Rastede but remained unranked. Caruge presented three State Premium mares, including Copyright, the dam of Cora, who is also a broodmare at Gestüt Wendeln, and the licensed stallion Dumont (by De Niro), a successful advanced (S) level dressage stallion.
