Jana's sire Couleur-Rubin received the utmost score of 10.0 for free jumping when he was licensed in 1998 in Oldenburg where he also received a Premium. In 2001 he became the Vice Bundeschampion of five-year old show jumpers and a year later he again reached the Final in the class for six-year olds. As of 2003 under Ludger Beerbaum, he placed in international competitions, including second place in the World Cup qualifier of Paris (FRA) in 2005 and first place in 2006 in the Hanoverian Championships. Five of his sons have been licensed and countless foals have brought high prices at auctions. Couleur-Rubin comes from the famous performance line of Rudilore.

Jana's dam St.Pr./El.St. Juwele took the I-l position in the Brillantring at the 1989 Oldenburg Elite Broodmare Show in Rastede. Jana and her Sandro Hit daughter Joy both received a Verband Premium.

The dam's sire Zeus was one of the most popular jumper-makers of his day and you still hear from his offspring such as Zetor/Thomas Kleis who took second place in the German Derby or the Nations Cup winner, Zseni/Jürgen Maier.
