Jasmin
Gray Holstein mare, born 1994, line 3435
by Cantus out of Biala by Sandro-Sacramento Song xx
Breeder: Paul Wendeln, Garrel
Pedigree
Jasmin's sire Cantus sired more than 20 licensed sons, including successful sport stallions such as Come On, Cascavelle, Calido I, Cellestial and Cobert GTI. His most famous son in sport is surely Willi Melliger's "White Giant", Calvaro.
Her dam Biala also produced an advanced (S) level show jumper named C’Est la Vie (by Sandro).
The dam's sire Sandro, highly successful on the course with Franke Sloothaak, had great influence on breeding and is, for example, also the grandsire of Sandro Hit through his son Sandro Song.
The great granddam Mendura produced two advanced (S) level show jumper mares, Celine (by Calando) and Lucia (by Landgraf I), the latter of which is the dam of Lord Ashley (by Althoff), a horse that competes in medium (M) level dressage as well as show jumping. Mendura's daughter Serafina (by Farnese) is the dam of a licensed stallion and advanced (S) level winning show jumper named Lord-Marco (by Lord) and another advanced (S) level jumper named Chablis (by Calypso II).
This Holstein line 3435 is also known for the licensed stallion Campione M who was ridden, among others, by Björn Nagel.
