St.Pr.St. Jerry

Jerry's sire Argentinus won the Main Premium in Oldenburg in 1984 because of his excellent first crop. And because his offspring in sport were so successful, Argentinus ranked among the world's top ten best jumper-makers for years (according to WBFSH). In 2005 he received the coveted title "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year".

Jerry's dam St.Pr./El.St. Journesse, also one of the active broodmares at Gestüt Wendeln, was bred often to Argentinus, producing two licensed stallions Aquilino (Grand Prix dressage) and Aquino (advanced (S*) level show jumping), three internationally successful show jumpers Oli Azarro T, Joy and Atlantico as well as St.Pr.A. Jackie. Jackie is also a broodmare at Gestüt Wendeln. 

The dam's sire Zeus, an Anglo-Norman stallion with 82 percent Anglo-Arabian blood, was without doubt one of the most successful jumper sires of his day, leading the prize money statistics for years. He sired numerous top priced auction horses such as Zeno who was knocked down in Vechta in 1991 for 170,000 D-Mark and later won international ribbons with Christian Ahlmann. Zerebus became the Bundeschampion of five-year old show jumpers in 1993 under Ludger Beerbaum. More than 20 licensed sons are registered, including two bred at Gestüt Wendeln, Zymbal I and II.
