Zymbal II
International career
Zymbal II was licensed in 1989 as a three-year old. Stationed in Rheinland-Pfalz, this chestnut stallion won a series of tests for young jumpers all the way to the Bundeschampionat.
After moving to Gestüt Zangersheide in Belgium, Piet Raymakers/NED rode him to victory on international show jumping courses.
His offspring registered in Germany often reached advanced (S) level in show jumping.
Paul Wendeln:
"Zymbal II is very much like his full sister, Cleopatra. A very fine, modern type but he was a bit on the small side and not really enough horse at the age of two and a half to be licensed. He could jump over houses though and was the most successful young jumper in Germany in his day. He started out internationally with Piet Raymakers but when Piet no longer worked for Leon Melchior's Gestüt Zangersheide, things got quiet around Zymbal II."
