Si Bon – full-brother to the National Championship quintet – with outstanding first foal crop

This is how foals should be: highly modern, correct in foundation, strong in movement. And exactly this description fits perfectly to the first foal crop of Si Bon.

The now four-year-old dark bay is not only making a name for himself with regard to his grandiose breeding debut. When it comes to personal achievements, Si Bon is an absolute model student. "Overall a very typey stallion with a lot of charisma, who was very convincing in the basic gaits as well as in the rideability," the judges commented on the consistently excellent performance at the sports test in Verden under his trainer Hermann Gerdes. The overall result of 8.26 meant the second reserve victory among strong competitors.

Si Bon comes from the passer pairing of the St.Pr./El. mare C'est bon (by Fürst Heinrich-Rubinstein) out of the famous Cinderella line maintained at Wendeln Stud, to the trademark stallion Sir Donnerhall I. His five full-siblings, including the star of the NRW State Stud, Sir Heinrich OLD, Candy OLD, bronze medalist at the World Championships for dressage horses, and Casey OLD, the Oldenburg Champion and State Champion, all won gold at the National Championships. A unique sport and breeding record – and a performance guarantee that is very rare to find these days.

Si Bon, who is stationed with Jens and Beatrice Hoffrogge, has what it takes to become a big one: in the dressage arena and in breeding.
