The beautiful Candy is a full sister to the four Bundeschampions Cindy OLD, Sir Heinrich OLD, Caty OLD and Casey OLD.

Her sire Sir Donnerhall I became Bundeschampion of six-year-old dressage horses in 2006 and finished best at the 70-day test in Adelheidsdorf in 2005 (dressage index 163.87). More than 100 of his sons have been licensed, soon 400 of his daughters have been awarded premium mares.

As the first mare in history, St.Pr./El.St. C'est bon became dam of five Bundeschampions: Sir Heinrich OLD, Cindy OLD, Candy OLD, Caty OLD and Casey OLD (all by Sir Donnerhall I). Sir Heinrich OLD and his younger full brother Si bon were also licensed. Oldenburg champion mares are Candy OLD and Casey OLD. Cindy OLD is a reserve champion mare.

    Successes

OL Champion Mare - World Championship Bronze - Bundeschampioness - Landeschampioness - SLP Winner - S-Series Winner

Candy passed her mare performance test in Vechta as a superior winner. The judges awarded the Sir Donnerhall I-daughter a dream score of 10 for her trot and the riders also gave her a very good score (9.0) for her rideability. Overall, Candy, who was awarded the main premium, scored 8.63 and thus one of the highest results ever in Oldenburg breeding history. At the State Championships in Rastede she won both the Elite Mare Show and the Riding Horse Championships. With a score of 8.9, she achieved the highest result in the Riding Horse and Dressage Horse Championships in Rastede and was nominated for the Bundeschampionat.

In 2017, series victories in novice class dressage horse tests were already added and the renewed victory in the State Championships in Rastede. Candy celebrated the highlight of the season by winning the Bundeschampionat for four-year-old riding horses in Warendorf. She already won the final qualification with a score of 8.6, receiving a 9.0 for both trot and conformation. In the final, Candy confirmed her good performance and also received 18.5 points from the outside riders and finally won the sash with 62.0 points.

At the World Championships for five-year-old dressage horses 2018 in Ermelo/NED, Candy OLD was presented by Eva Möller. The pair was frenetically celebrated by the spectators after a harmony-pur performance and also received excellent scores from the judges: 9.8 for trot, 9.7 for perspective, 9.4 each for canter and rideability and 8.6 for walk. This meant that Candy OLD and Eva Möller could not be denied bronze as the best mare in the final behind the two stallions Revolution under Andreas Helgstrand/DEN and Destacado with Matthias Alexander Rath.

Candy OLD was then ridden by the World and European Champion and Olympic silver medallist Helen Langehanenberg to series victories up to St. Georges dressage.
