Caty is the full-sister to the four Bundeschampions Cindy OLD, Sir Heinrich OLD, Candy OLD and Casey OLD.

Her sire Sir Donnerhall I became Bundeschampion of six-year-old dressage horses in 2006 and finished best at the 70-day test in Adelheidsdorf in 2005 (dressage index 163.87). More than 100 of his sons have been licensed, soon 400 of his daughters have been awarded premium mares.

As the first mare in history, St.Pr./El.St. C'est bon became dam of five Bundeschampions: Sir Heinrich OLD, Cindy OLD, Candy OLD, Caty OLD and Casey OLD (all by Sir Donnerhall I). Sir Heinrich OLD and Si Bon were also licensed, and Oldenburg champion mares are Candy OLD and Casey OLD.

Oldenburger line of El.St. Cinderella, branch of St.Pr./El.St. Cabarett.

    Successes

Caty OLD passed a very good mare performance test in 2017 and was classified as an Oldenburg main premium candidate for this. At the Elite Mare Show in Rastede she went on the brilliant ring and placed fifth in the Oldenburg State Championships for three-year-old mares and geldings.

The following year she became Vice-Championess at the State Championships in Rastede with an overall score of 8.9, she received the maximum score of 10 for her trot. Since then she has borne the name of the Oldenburg Sports Promotion and was nominated for the Bundeschampionat. Caty's star finally rose in Warendorf. She was named Bundeschampion of the four-year-old mares and geldings with a score of 8.5, whereby her trot was also judged best here with 9.5.

In 2019, Caty OLD qualified straight away for the Bundeschampionat for five-year-old dressage horses. In 2020, she was third in the final qualification in Warendorf under Eva Möller, but could not participate in the final due to fever.

After the Bundeschampionat, Caty OLD changed to the ownership of the Riegel family and recorded serial victories in advanced (S*) level dressage competitions, first with their rider Pia Wischerath and then with the young Laura-Franziska Riegel. The two competed at the "Preis der Besten" in Warendorf 2023, secured the silver medal at the Rhineland Championships for young riders and were then allowed to take them to the German Youth Championships in Munich-Riem.
