Chacco Rosso is half-brother to the successful show jumpers Aquarell PW and Aquino, as well as to the Grand Prix dressage horse and Aquilino.
His sire is Chacco-Blue, a stallion from the Lewitz Stud. He won the Grand Prix of Neumünster and placed on the podium in the Grand Prix of Aachen. More than 50 of his sons received a positive approval in Germany alone and more than 520 offspring that were successful in advanced level show jumping competitions already provide him with a lifetime earnings of more than 7.1 million Euros (2021).
The dam Journesse produced two licensed sons, eight advanced (S) level show jumpers and two advanced (S) level dressage horses. The successes of her offspring amount to a lifetime earnings of over 190,000 Euros (2021).
Oldenburg line of Juliane, branch of state premium/elite broodmare Journesse.
In 2017, in his first show-season, Chacco Rosso was highly successful in medium level (M) show-jumping competitions with his rider Jaqueline Buehrmann. 2018 he already stood his ground in several international medium jumping tests and placed at the national championships. In 2019 successes in M** jumping were added.
His first advanced (S*) placement came in 2021 with Dennis Heyer in the saddle, and further ribbons were added from 2023 onwards under Kai Thomann.
With his new owner Josefine Gröger, Chacco Rosso is currently successful in show jumping competitions up to medium (M**) level.
