Doriano is the full brother of the OS Champion mare Jurwina.

Doriano's sire Diarado was the 2007 licensing winner in Holstein and the 2008 stallion performance test winner in Schlieckau. In his 70-day test, he received top scores: 10.0 for free jumping, a 9.5 for rideability, 9.75 for course jumping and 9.3 for jumping. Diarado himself won the final qualification at the Bundeschampionat in 2010 with a 9.3 and took the bronze medal in the final. In the international course he successfully went up to S***. The success of his offspring catapulted him to a top place in the WBFSH ranking of the world's best show jumping and eventing sires.

Dam Jana by Couleur-Rubin has already produced numerous successful offspring as well as elite auction foals. Currently highly successful are her Stalypso son Strombuli as well as the offspring jumpers Kariano and Stuart Little by Kannan and Stakkato Gold respectively.

Oldenburg line of Juliane, branch of state premium/elite broodmare Juwele.

    Successes

Doriano was Oldenburg State Champion of five-year-old show jumpers in Rastede in 2016 under Joachim Heyer. As a five- and six-year-old, he placed in the Bundeschampionat finals. At the age of seven, he reached the finals of the World Championships for Young Show Jumpers and was successful in the international Youngster Tour.

Under the saddle of Dennis Heyer, successes in international 1.40 meter show jumping were added in 2020.

Jaqueline Bührmann took over Doriano's further sporting development in 2021, and the pair achieved success in 1.45 meter jumps right away.

Kai Thomann has been in the saddle with Doriano since 2022 and, among numerous other successes, took fifth place in the Grand Prix of Harsum, a highly competitive advanced (S***) level show jumping competition with jump-off.

In 2023, the pair competed in the first leg of Germany's U25 Jumping Cup in Hagen a.T.W. and placed eighth in the S*** jumping competition. In the Grand Prix of Warendorf, Kai Thomann and Doriano secured ninth place in a strong field of starters.
