Hardly any other stallion has carried the grandiose legacy of his sire, the hallmark stallion Calido I, who recently passed away at the proud age of 32, into the world with such lasting effect as his son DSP Cashmoaker. Beautiful, ambitious, powerful in jumping - and under Denis Nielsen a performance guarantor of a very rare kind. The dream team jumped to gold at the German Championships and, after winning the Grand Prix in Dortmund, Hagen a.T.W. and Herning/DEN as well as numerous top placings in Nations Cups and Grand Prix, was appointed to the German Championships squad.

Successes

Early on, DSP Cashmoaker fascinated with his boundless jumping ability, his excellent technique, his outstanding will to perform and his remarkable rideability. At his 30-day test in Prussendorf in 2009, he received the maximum score of 10 for his jumping (overall 8.46) and was again unbeatable at his 70-day test in 2011, again in Prussendorf, with a final jumping score of 8.89 and an overall score of 8.11.

Initially ridden by Jens Rensen to numerous wins and placings in tests for young show jumpers and later up to advanced (S) level show jumping, the switch to Denis Nielsen's saddle followed in 2014. The pair immediately secured fifth and sixth place in the RWE Prize, the SAP Prize and the Stawag Prize at the CHIO Aachen and also won the "Germany's U25 Jumping Cup" final at the Hamburg Derby. This was followed by more than 120 valuable victories and placings in Dortmund, Hagen a.T.W., Stuttgart, Aachen, Barcelona/ESP, Arezzo/ITA, Neumünster, Salzburg/AUT etc.

In 2023, DSP Cashmoaker was retired from the sport in top condition and was specially highlighted as a Master stallion at the Stuttgart German Masters. In 2015, he received the "Stallion of the Year" award at the Schaufenster der Besten.

Pedigree

The sire Calido I is considered the most important son of the great Cantus and confirmed this with an armada of over 400 internationally successful offspring, including Calanda/Marcus Ehning, Coupe de Coeur/René Tebbel and Ludger Beerbaum respectively and K Club Lady/Cian O`Connor/IRL. He sent three jumpers to the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong/HNK: Noblesse M under Pius Schwizer/SUI, California with Taizo Sugitani/JPN and Cajak under Eiken Sato/JPN. There are 115 licensed sons listed worldwide.

Cashmoaker's full sisters Cherry Pie and Chelsea also competed successfully in sport up to 1.45 meter jumping. The dam La-Fayette, herself sister to the three 1.45 meter jumpers Lousiana (by Lafitte), Cashira I and Cashira III (both by Calido I), also produced other show jumpers. Cashira III became dam of the premium stallion Tangelo's Son TZ (by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve). Cashira II (by Calido I) produced the international show jumpers Django Unchained T (by Diarado)/Hans Günther Blum, Chiara T (by Clarimo)/Julia Timmreck and Clear Round T (by Cassilano). The Cashira II daughter Divina (by Diarado) produced the DSP jumping champion stallion and Bundeschampionat winner Emperor (by Eldorado van de Zeshoek) under Christoph Wahler and the premium stallion Chartbreaker by Cabrio v.d. Heffinck.

The third dam Koralle produced several successful sport horses, such as La Coquette (by Landrebell)/among others Hans-Dieter Dreher, Rulanda (by Rudelsburg)/Imke Harms, Rasputin (by Rudelsburg)/Rene Dittmer, Zweitschrift (by Rudelsburg)/Giacomo Casadei/ITA and Rulanda II (by Rudelsburg)/Ezequiel Andres Ferro Menendez. Koralle's daughter Wendy (by Wagner) became dam of the international Grand Prix dressage horse Corsiere (by Convoi)/Peter Koch.

The dam line also produced the reserve show jumping champion stallion Verdis Call (by Verdi TN) and the likewise licensed Tancari (by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve), Pumbaa (by Kasanova de la Pomme), NN (by Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN) and Leduc (by Lear) as well as other sport horses such as La Traviata (by Levisto Z)/Luca Maria Moneta/ITA.

Offspring

Due to his use in sport, DSP Cashmoaker was not used much for breeding, but he still produced top horses with high frequency, led by the Grand Prix winner Cash and Fly, Casablanca under Denis Nielsen, who was already successful in show jumping up to 1.50 meters, Candy Girl with Hans Thorben Rüder and La Eleganc as well as Jackie Cash under Kai Thomann, who placed at the Bundeschampionat. His dam's sire is Calando/Ezequiel Andres Ferro Menendez/ARG, a show jumping World Cup finalist. Two sons were licensed, including Cashtime, who placed in show jumping competitions up to 1.30 meters. His typey and strong-moving foals are consistently awarded prizes and are in high demand by talent scouts.
