Journesse du Rouet is the last daughter of our Journesse.
Journesse du Rouet is the last daughter of our Journesse.
For the fifth time in a row Balou du Rouet belongs to the world's best jumping and eventing sires with rank 15 and eight respectively. Balou du Rouet is one of the world's best show jumping and eventing sires (according to the WBFSH ranking) - as evidenced by the team silver medallist in the Olympic show jumping competition in Tokyo/JPN, Baloutinue/Laura Kraut/USA, the individual bronze medallist at the European Eventing Championships in Avenches/SUI, Corouet/Sarah Bullimore/GBR, and the team gold medallist and individual bronze medallist at the European Young Riders Championships in Vilamoura/POR, Balento C. S./Emilie Conter/BEL. More than 70 of his offspring are successful in 1.60 metre jumping competitions. This means that Balou du Rouet has long been the heir to the throne of his famous sire, the Olympic and three-time World Cup winner Baloubet du Rouet.
The dam, Journesse, produced two licensed sons, eight advanced (S) level show jumpers and two advanced (S) level dressage horses. The successes of her offspring amount to a lifetime earnings of over 190,000 Euros (2021).
Oldenburg line of state premium/elite broodmare Juliane III, branch of state premium/elite broodmare Journesse.
Journesse du Rouet completed a good broodmare performance test and was awarded premium by her association. In tests for young show jumpers she was successful up to medium (M) level and participated in the Bundeschampionat as a five-year-old. At the age of six she reached the Warendorf finals and placed in medium (M**) level show jumping.
With Kai Thomann, valuable successes in the Youngster Tour were added from the middle of 2022, among others in Bösel, Wietmarschen and Lemwerder. One year later, further placings followed in Klein Roscharden and Bremen-Oberneuland - including the first ribbon in a S** showjumping competition.
